Poacher for Fish and Vegetables

Poaching food is a culinary technique where delicate foods—such as eggs, fish, vegetables or fruit—are cooked by submerging them in gently simmering liquid at a low temperature. Using a specially designed cooking pan with a interior platform to hold the food off the base of the pan allows the food to be moist and tender when done. Salmon is wonderful cooked this way, as are other types of fish, as the long narrow shaped pan supports their length. Asparagus and corn will cook well in this pan also. Give it a try!  18" long by 6" wide. Looks new.
